Rooms were good beds were comfortable and cozy.
Breakfast was good, Sonia took good care of me at breakfast too. She is a star indeed.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff.
Very welcoming from check-in to check-out, despite numerous last minute reservations, nothing is ever too much trouble for the team.
The varying dinner specials and engaging kitchen staff deliver a great respite in the evenings.

Great deal from Booking.Com and everything was as expected from their reviews: very clean, warm and comfortable bed, hot shower bath. Buffet hot breakfast. Enjoyed my stay as the staff were professional and friendly, especially Sonia. Thank you. Will stay again because the price was very good!

Lovely, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant. It's help yourself buffet plenty of choice and kept hot. Would recommend if you want somewhere just off the A1.

Average rooms and fittings for this level of hotel but very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Special mention for Charlotte and Lewis in the restaurant. (See our comments on food)

Sonie the duty manager was on duty ,we ask for food but they don't do food till 5,but she kindly done us 2 large pizzas ,she went out of her way to please ,got us iced water ,she is sooooo lovely and hope to see her when we come bk Christmas eve xxx

The stay was nice but for the money paid I expected more the rooms especially the bathroom ,sink tap was dirty . And the room had a really damp smell . But slept well .

Unfortunately the bathwater was luke warm. I had to wait 55 minutes for my meal when there were only 4 or 5 people in the restaurant.
Room had some great wooden shutters to black out the light for a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed.

It was freezing when we got there. I asked why the climate control in the room wasn't working, and the staff member wasn't aware that the climate control is for heating, not only cooling. We asked for a refund but didn't get it. Staff members gave us an oil filled radiator to heat the room. We were very disappointed.

Absolutely shocking. Old outdated rooms. Plug other side of room so can’t charge phone. Cleaners stole my electric toothbrush whole out and staff did nothing about it. Said it was impossible. Key card to room didn’t work every night so had to walk the full length of the hotel every night back to reception. Avoid at all costs
